Works

I favour fine-grained granites and basalts (black Swedish gabbro). Gabbro is the strongest hard rock in the world, making it permanently resistant to frost and corrosion. The works will thus endure for centuries.

This stone can only be worked with the greatest physical effort, with hand tools – as well as skill. Because of this, the rocks’ special nature denotes to the sculptor a personal claim on the works.

Another aspect of the works is to do with the form of the sculptures: each requires individual attention.
